1. computer security insidents : Feb 2010, hackers believed to be from China, gained access to an Iowa government database which contained the personal information of 80,000 current and former employees of Iowa’s casino and racing industries, including names, Social Security numbers, home addresses and birth dates.
vulnerabilities: The hackers were able to get into the database because a firewall on the commission’s computer system had not been properly patched by a private contractor. A computer log indicated that all appropriate software patches had been installed.
threats: Exploit database via php script can be one way to search the contents of the database from the target site that has a database structure that many and complex.With a complex database structure then search the database contents will be verytiring and boring, plus of course the Internet connection.
impacts: 80,000 employees all personal information consisting of name, number, social security, home address and date of birth was unknown.
2. computer security insidents : Jan 2010, Hackers stole login credentials for more than 8,300 customers of New York Suffolk County National Bank
vulnerabilities: breaching its security and accessing a server that hosted its online banking system over a six-day period. The breach was discovered during an internal security review.

vulnerabilities: there are weaknesses in the security admin database can still open a window tothe Hecker
threats: threat comes from hackers who want to ask for money if the desired data is stillmaintained
impacts: Data citizens of the state of Virginia is stolen and the hackers asked for a deposit of 10 million dollars if the data to be returned.
4. computer security insidents : Mafiaboy
vulnerabilities: mafiaboy will perform Denial of Service (DOS) flood the traffic the site so difficult to access. Then they will ask for money as a condition for stopping attacks.
